Her golden opportunity had arrived.
She never looked back and she smiled as if she was saying
I couldn't have lived with myself if I hadn't tried.
Norma saved up her money to meet Clarck Gable.
She was living in some sort of teenage dream.
Young Norma was willing but she was never able to make the Hollywood scene
V2) She knew she had love but she didn't know where she could put it.
At least that's the song that she heard and always sings. She knew she was gone but she didn't know where she was going.
Get on the bus and see what her mama brings.
Millie fell for the boy without no hesitation.
She took off her glasses so she could be seen.
Millie knew her hopes would only cause frustration because the boy was mean.
All the people that you meet in San Ysidro, tell you there's nothing to do here, this towns a bore.
Some are wicked but I would not call them evil, they're just hoping for more
